Submission Guidelines
At Runic Publishing, we are passionate about discovering new voices and bringing diverse stories to readers. To give your manuscript the best chance of consideration, please adhere to the following submission guidelines:
Manuscript Requirements
Genre and Word Count:
We accept fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, and Y.A. or children’s literature.
Fiction and non-fiction manuscripts should be between 60,000 and 100,000 words.
Graphic Novel collections should not exceed 80 pages.
Formatting:
Manuscripts must be in English and submitted in a Word document (.doc or .docx) or PDF format.
Use a standard font like Times New Roman or Arial, 12-point size, double-spaced.
Include page numbers and a header with your name and the title of your work.
Query Letter:
Your query letter should be no more than one page.
Introduce yourself and your work, including any previous publications or relevant experience.
Explain why you believe your manuscript is a good fit for Runic Publishing.
Submission Process
Submission Portal:
All submissions must be made through our online submission portal. We do not accept submissions via email or postal mail.
Please upload your manuscript and query letter as separate files.
Multiple Submissions:
We accept simultaneous submissions, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
Multiple submissions to Runic Publishing are allowed, but please submit each work separately.
Response Time:
We aim to respond to all submissions within six to eight weeks. If you haven’t heard from us after eight weeks, feel free to follow up via email to submissions@runicpublishing.com.
Rights:
By submitting your work, you confirm that it is original and that you own the rights to it. You also agree that Runic Publishing can evaluate your manuscript for publication.
Important Notes:
Feedback: Due to the volume of submissions, we are unable to provide individual feedback on manuscripts.
Revisions: Please do not submit revised manuscripts unless requested by our editorial team.
